Progression: Opinions Boscombe

I have spent nearly all of my time in the last couple of months in Boscombe, visiting different areas, chatting to different people and communities.
Speaking to locals openly on this sensitive matter, though, turned out to be a bit harder than expected. Most of my interviewees were unwilling to speak about crime in detail. They did not want any information to be published online or their names to be mentiones so they do not get into trouble.
There were, though, enough courageous ones who shared their views.
Wolkan Gunes: "I've lived in Boscombe for 5 years and I never encountered any crime. However, my neighbor has had his house robbed twice. I suppose he has just been really unlucky"
Julian Bell: "Boscombe is safe enough if you pay enough attention to your belongings and do not argue with strangers, but these same rules apply for everywhere. I like this neighbourhood and want people to change their perception of it."
Shanon Beales: "I hate going into the the Boscombe center because it is full of druggies. I usually get a bus to Bournemouth because I feel safer there."
John Smith*: "It is always the same people who provoke crime in here, we all know who they are, we all know where they are, even the police know. No one does anything about it..."
* his name was changed as he asked to remain anonymous due to safety reasons
