St Clement’s Church in Boscombe hopes to bring communities together by renewing its services full time.
By following the steps of its sister-church at St Swithun’ Road, they are going to start a partnership, hoped to improve the number of people attending as they have rapidly dropped in recent years.
The church was founded in1870 and it is a building which has watched over its neighbors for more than a century.
It aims to reach people who otherwise have no contact with the church, people living in poverty who have to face issues such as substance abuse.
The ‘relaunch’ of the two churches follows the recovery course held at St Swithun’s and helps people with drug or alcoholic addiction.
The program first started in February 2015 and has helped 450 people from the area since then.
